Random Factoid: Baltimore Is Getting A Frank Zappa Statue
We're getting a Frank Zappa statue, courtesy of "a quirky bunch of Lithuanian artists and intellectuals."
The public art commission voted unanimously to accept this statue.
Just where it's gonna be placed no one seems to know.
Zappa, who died in 1993 (he was 52 at the time) of prostate cancer, was born in Baltimore.
I would consider it a great honor to have it placed in my backyard, I'll move the kids' swingset!

better yet, the front yard, what was i thinking?, it's just in the backyard, it'd be more intimate, away from the road and all, people could visit and eat mulberries from the tree next to it, i guess i should probably grow prune trees though, man, this is taking more planning than i thought

I guess it might be up to me to put a full scraggly head of hair on the statue.....That's the way most fans remember him......Besides his obvious GENIUS on many levels!!!
