Just to pile on ... I suppose that, of all of the recent disclosures about Sarah Palin, I strangely find this one the most disconcerting.

"She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." That woman, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor [...] "

It's frightening that people would even take her seriously, she demands loyalty, or fires people. She obviously went after her ex-brother-in-law.
Some are comparing her to Tracy Flick, (in "Election"). I'd say she's more like Nicole Kidman's character in "To Die For"
