SETTING: Annapolis Mall, literature section of a well-known chain bookstore.
PLAYERS: Waifish young teen girls, typical of the sort found at malls on a Saturday evening.
TEEN 1 [index finger dragging across book spines]: H, H, H … here it is. Old Man and the Sea. Oh cool! It’s sooo thin!
Teen 2 [envious]: You’re sooo lucky. Jeremy had to read this one [points to Catch-22, also in the H section] and said it was hard and it’s like ten times the size of that one.
