To many rational adults, the following statistics would suggest the capitalist system isn't working quite right.
In 2010, CEO compensation grew 28%.
In 2011, CEO compensation grew 15%.
Since 1978, CEO compensation has risen 725%.
Since 1978, worker compensation has risen 5.7%. (Which is well below the average rate of inflation.)
