Every want has a backstory. For the Freecycler, you can’t simply want an item to want it for its own sake. You need to justify your want with some blame-throwing, maybe some self-flagellation, and when all else fails: blame gravity.
Wanted: 2 Old Button Down Shirt
Yeah Yeah, I have been seeing all the comments about the wants. I don't agree with all the wants, but most of them are simple request. I have been giving my fair share of items away as offers and I have even answered some wants.
My request is also simple. I live in the Middle River area. All I am looking for is two old button down shirts for my daughter and son for art class in school. I have asked thier father, but that is like getting blood from a stone. If anyone in the area has a couple they don't mind giving away, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, I will just go hit up the thrift store.
Wanted: Alarm Clocks
Just thought I'd take a chance and see if anyone has any extra alarm clocks they aren't using. I get up at one time. DH needs a different time and our daughter yet a third. I've been waking them up since I'm the first one up but I'd love to teach them some responsibility and self-reliance since my new job may involve travel. Any extra alarm clocks out there?
Wanted: A Surveillance camera.
For my backyard, caught my neighbor attempting to cause my dog harm last night about midnight when I went out to lock my shed the kids left open. Neighbor doesnt like the fact that if you are carousing around my yard at night, my dog (any dog) is going to bark. My dog is within the confines of my yard/fence at all times. Needless to say a heated altercation occured when the neighbor discovered me in the yard. Police were called and they can do nothing without proof. I need a camera to catch him before he does something worse. This was not the first time he has been seen teasing and taunting my dog. Hope someone can help me.
Wanted: Brownie Badges
So my daughter is in Brownies this year, and nearly every time she comes home from a meeting, she has another Try-It badge for me to attach to her vest. Trouble is, I'm a moron and misplaced most of the badges before they ever even saw the vest. If you are done with Brownies, and are ok with purging, I would even take a whole vest or sash or whatever you have, remove the badges and freecycle the rest.
These are the badges we need to replace:
Maryland My Maryland. - GSCM
Promise and Law. - GSCM
Forestree. - GSCM
Please help this poor, disorganized excuse for a mom. I will drive 15-20 minutes in any direction from Towson to pick up.
Wanted: CORDLESS PHONE, any kind of telephone, mine fell off the wall and into the dogs waterbowl.
