I go to local restaurants and cafes in my neighborhood. Soup's On Hampden, Common Ground, Holy Frijoles and Rocket to Venus are always displaying excellent art. It's not the most expected place but I see ever-changing and excellent work there. More businesses should pick up on this trend.

I haven't missed an exhibit at the American Visionary Art Museum in years. The permanent galleries never get old, and the new stuff is always worth a look. I love the detail that goes into the text on the walls as well; this is a rare case where reading about the artists is as interesting as the art.
