Last week, John McCain lost his shit on the floor of the Senate over the health care debates (he, evidently, now objects to cutting the same pork spending that 2008 Candidate McCain promised to cut). Sen. Max Baucus tries to object, and that triggers McCain's famous temper (if only we'd had C-SPAN back when McCain actually physically attacked US Senators on the Senate floor).

Fabulous stuff. This is the feisty and tart John McCain who was missing on the campaign trail last fall to the regret of many GOP backers.
Finally, those opposed to the Democrats' strong-arm tactics in Congress have a leader who knows how to fight on his feet. McCain even has Mitch McConnell jacked up and sounding more focused than he has been in weeks on this fight.
This does not sound like the writing of a media critic, it sounds more like the words of a right wing political blogger, which, let's face it, is exactly what the Z-man is.
Zurawik's column.More.
Thanks for watching out for us. I've always suspected that Zurawik was just another right wing tool disguised as a "media critic." a la Howie Kurtz. Conflict of interest much?
