According to a study conducted by the University of Maryland, FOX News viewers are much more likely to believe false information about American politics.
Also, increased viewership of FOX News leads to increased belief in false news stories.
And for you Democrats and liberals who claim to like to watch FOX for "entertainment", "balance" or "to see what the other side is saying," this statistic is not partisan. That means regardless of your political alignment, the more you watch FOX News, the more likely you are to believe bullshit.
In typical douchey form, FOX News Senior VP for News Michael Clemente responded by saying: "The latest Princeton Review ranked the University of Maryland among the top schools for having ‘Students Who Study The Least’ and being the ‘Best Party School’ – given these fine academic distinctions, we’ll regard the study with the same level of veracity it was ‘researched’ with."
The Princeton Review says the University of Maryland ranks among the "Best Northeastern Colleges". It also ranked the school #19 its list of "Best Party Schools".

I don't get FOX News here in the UK (might be my subscription, maybe it's available at a premium) but I've heard so much this year about their shambolic reporting, hypocracy and inconsistencies that I now seek it out for pure amusement. Nice post - more of this please!

As much as I agree that Fox is awful, I have seen this story all over the internets, and there is a clear causation v. correlation issue.
